Description
A systemic aquatic herbicide for the selective control of floating, submersed, and emergent aquatic vegetation. Contains 2 lb penoxsulam, an aquatic herbicide that inhibits the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme in susceptible plants. For use in managing selected aquatic plants including: Eurasian watermilfoil, curlyleaf pondweed, sago pondweed, Brazilian elodea, cabomba, duckweed, and watermeal. Provides selective control with proper concentrations, timing, and application techniques. Field testing in the Midwest has shown good control of watermeal in ponds where Sonar AS failed to give acceptable control. Economical and selective control of curlyleaf pondweed with early spring application of whole lake low concentration.
