Description
Allow cattails to grow over 12-24 inches in height, then apply the following. Mix 2 fluid ounces of Clearcast, and 2 fluid ounces of Sun Wet MSO per gallon of water. Spray this mixture onto cattails on a sunny day. Avoid applying on days with rain in the forecast.
Clearcast is an effective solution for selective aquatic and terrestrial weed control with minimal irrigation restrictions. It can be applied directly to water for the control of certain submerged aquatic vegetation or applied as a broadcast or spot spray to floating and emergent vegetation. Weeds controlled include alligatorweed, cattail, common salvinia, frogbit, phragmites, pennywort, primrose, spatterdock, water hyacinth, water lily, watershield and more. Clearcast can also be applied during drawdown or to non-cropland sites for terrestrial and riparian vegetation control.
